Entirely parent-run, our charity is the brainchild of Kent-based French parents of bilingual and multilingual children. The aim of the charity is to pass on the parents’ mother tongue and culture to the next generation of their family, by providing two saturday morning French schools. But we’re by no means a French-only-club: some of our parents are Belgians, Swiss or even Britons who, having lived in one of the French-speaking countries for a few years, would like to give their children the opportunity to practice the language they’d had such a hard time learning! What they all have in common are children who attend English schools and who are encouraged to speak French at home.
